The annual membership fee now has gone up to £2 per annum after 35 years.
This was agreed at he AGM 2024.
Since 1989 the fee had remained £1.

The following is a summary of things of particular relevance for new residents.

You can park FREE upto 1 hour in Burrough of Harrow.
The parking in our area is restricted. Most roads (apart from Bonnersfield Lane & Northwick Park Road) are in zone S and are restricted for only one hour 11.00 to 12.00 Monday to Friday (including Bank Holidays) when one may only park in the marked bays with either a valid resident permit or visitor’s permit.
The permits are available at the Greenhill Library in College Road, Harrow on presentation of proof that you are a resident and, for the resident permit, information regarding the vehicle.
Bonnersfield Lane & Northwick Park Road are in zone F and are restricted from 8.30 to 6.30 Monday to Saturday. Bonnersfield Lane also has some parking spaces with meters. There is a charge for both types of permit.
Collection is usually on a Tuesday except after a Bank Holiday when it is normally the next day or as stated by special leaflets (around Christmas & New Year for example). Calender with collection dates are available from 020 8901 2600
Bins Collection:
Black bin – collected every alternate week
This bin is for food waste e.g. eggshells, fruit & vegetable peelings, tea bags, meat and bones; It is recommended to wrap up any food in newspaper.
Brown bin – collected every alternate week
This bin is for garden waste e.g. flowers, fruits, leaves and twigs, prunings, small branches, grass (soil, including on plant roots, is NOT accepted) .
There is a charge for this collection, the amount depends on the option chosen. The options are :-
a) No collection
b) Summer only (Full 6 mo. = £40)
c) All year (Full year = £69)
d) Share with a neighbour
Blue/Grey bin – collected every alternate week
This bin is for cardboard e.g. boxes, tubes, cereal packets, egg boxes, kitchen roll, newspapers, magazines, catalogues, telephone directories, glass bottles and jars (not broken and with no tops left on), cans such as food cans and drink cans; plastic bottles such as water or milk bottles, aluminium foil, Aerosols and containers. Containers that have contained food or drink should be washed.
Green bin – collected alternate weeks
In this bin you put nearly anything else, e.g. broken glass and plastic not suitable for the blue bin, cups and plates, vacuum cleaner bags/dust, pet waste, disposable nappies and polystyrene.
Soil, builder’s rubble, fencing, shredded paper and all electrical items to be taken to to the civic amenity site which is situated in:
Forward Drive, Wealdstone, HA3 8NT (open 8.30 – 16.30 seven days a week)
You need to book a visit. You will have to take proof of identification.
Special or bulky collections can be booked free.

We are very lucky to be close to Harrow on the Hill¹, Harrow & Wealdstone¹, Kenton² and Northwick Park² stations (giving us access to the Metropolitan and Bakerloo underground lines and the Euston and Marylebone overground lines). We also have many bus routes.

Kenton Recreation Park is on our doorstep, accessed either by the bridge over the railway at the Kenton end of Francis Road or by the tunnel below the railway at the Francis Road/Elmgrove Road junction.
Our local GP practice is at 36 Northwick Park Road (at the junction with Bonnersfield Lane).
